On the night of March 18, 2018. The first round of the Drone Grand Prix was held in Shanghai Automobile Exhibition Center (SAEC). The Drone Grand Prix adopted the integral system and invited 12 capable FPV pilots from around the world.
The whole racetrack was made up of different kinds of LED tubing which made the competition visually amazing. According to regulations of the competition, all pilots had to use customized equipment for each racing drone to ensure a fair and spectacular race.
FrSky X9D Plus and R9 RC system (R9 Slim receiver & R9M module) where the official designated RC transmitter that accompanied every pilot to the end of the competition.
In the Finals, the pilot Ken (Japan) won first place while pilot Bobo, came in a one second behind to take second place. Congratulations!
